MCT ~ Throwback Thursday "Do Over"

Happy Thursday! So happy, there is only one more day to go and it is the weekend! Whoo hoo!
So today over at My Creative Time the design team we get to choose a project we created before and "Do it over"! Fun right! It doesn't have to be a creation we necessarily didn't care for but maybe to change it up just a tad.
Well I made this card for the November Blog Hop and I have to say, I really thought it turned out rather cute. I wanted to recreate a spring like scene this time around and since we had the PERFECT new stamps and dies from last weeks release, click here, I thought why not? I didn't go over the top with details. I did use Tim Holtz inks for the entire scene though. I die cut everything in white and just inked away! Nothing too fancy and simply stated.
I just ADORE this tree branch and little birdie from the set, Tweet Me and Fun Tweet Me Dies. I can see these coming in handy. Now to see what I used for the first card just click here, otherwise I will list all materials used below my "Do Over" card.
Now my new card!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI & MME
Ink ~ VersaFine, TH and Archival
clear embossing powder
Signo pen

Thanks for stopping by and make sure you see all the ladies amazing creations over at

MCT ~ March Release Sneak Peek #3

Today is Day 3 of the My Creative Time March Release Sneak Peeks. Today Emma and the design team will be featuring two set, Love YOU Bunches and Jr. Rolled Flower Dies. The Love YOU Bunches stamp set has two gorgeous flowers with some wonderful sentiments for our loving mom's. I just ADORE this stamp set. Now the Jr. Rolled Flower Dies are a smaller version of the Rolled Flower Dies. They are so darn CUTE!
I chose to make a small arrangement on my card with thee rose stamps and dies. I tried my best to color them and add a little Wink of Stella. You can only see it on a flower or two but in real life, it looks so pretty! My sentiments are from this jet. Oh look how CUTE they look in the smaller jar from the Stitched Chunky Jar Dies. They do fit in the larger jar as well.

MCT ~ March Release Sneak Peek #2

Welcome to Day#2 of the March My Creative Time Sneak Peeks. Didn't I tell you yesterday would be amazing? Well today Emma and the ladies will do the same. Today we will be showcasing the Fun Stitched Tag Dies. There are 7 total dies in this set. Two of these dies will be like frames. Then there is another die in this set that fits PERFECTLY as a top layer for the Mini Chalkboard Tags dies.
Again I thought I would keep my card rather simple today. I chose not to use the frame that fits around my tags. I cant wait to use them though. I can see these tags being used for so many things especially some of my PL cards for my sons scrapbook! I again used foam to give the word "smile" some dimension. I did use this glitter paper to put on top but unfortunately you cant see that. Again Emma's dies cut through so many wonderful thinks besides paper!
Again I will list all materials used below my picture.

Materials Used:
Fun Stitched Tag Dies
Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More
Happy Thoughts
Paper ~ PTI and Recollections glitter paper
Ink ~ VersaFine
hemp

MCT March Release Sneak Peek #1

Good morning and welcome to Day #1 of the March My Creative Time Sneak Peeks! We are so excited about this release ~ it literally is jammed pack with tons of AWESOME new stamps and dies! Miss Emma totally ROCKED this release, like she always does!
Today the design team will be sneak peeking a new die called Circle Stitching Pattern Dies. I am so super excited about this new die, it does NOT cut out, it just embosses ~ EEK! Don't you LOVE it!!  Since I adore circles, this die will be a go too die for sure. You can quickly add that extra element to any card or creation! Now I showed you how to use it in a very simple way but I can assure you, some of my design team sisters will blow your mind! Trust me! I also have to say how I LOVE how Emma's dies cut through foam. Foam gives the word die so much dimension verses cutting out two to three pieces of paper. LOVE this idea!
As always I will try my best to keep my posts short all week so you don't miss out on one single creation!

MCT ~ Tag it Tuesday

Good morning! Today is Tag It Tuesday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! I thought I would share a pretty simple tag I made using the Tag Die and Tag Die Layers. I just adore these tags because they fit perfectly with a gift bag and can be dressed up for any occasion. I chose to make it a birthday themed tag. I decided not to actually layer the tag but to off set it, not sure why?? I like this look though. The little chickie is from the To a Cute Chickie stamp/die set. I LOVE the fact that we can either color it or just stamp it on patterned paper or just plain paper. I will list all the products used to make this tag below.

Materials Used:
Stitched Cartoon Cloud Dies
Paper ~ PTI, MME and vellum
Ink ~ Hero Arts
Ribbon ~ SU
Copic markers
hemp

MCT ~ Made In Minutes

Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! The sun was shining here and the snow is melting ~ yay!!!! The temperature is going to be in the 40's this week and let me tell you ~ we all are going to think it is a heat wave!! Whoo hoo!

Today is Made In Minutes over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team! This is when we create any project in literally minutes. I have a very simple card and made with a some scraps. I am venturing into some water coloring. I die cut my little shamrocks are from a practice piece of paper using the You're My Pot of Gold stamp/die set.  The ribbon was a piece that I cut for a project along time ago and was too short. Then the embossed rectangular was a mishap...goodness this is sounding more like recycle project. LOL! I did fix my hemp around my ribbon after I took this picture, I was in a rush to snap some pictures before I headed to the dreaded grocery store that was packed by the way. But never worry they were giving away free samples of Starbucks Shamrock Frappuccino's. Anyway, just a real simple project that you can make in minutes if you had too!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ribbon ~ Etsy shop
Ink ~ Hero Arts and VersaFine
Darice St. Pats folder
clear embossing powder

That is it for me today! Make sure you head over to Emma's blog and see what the ladies have made in minutes too!

MCT ~ Scrapping the Little Things

Good morning!I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I know we did even though it was rather busy at times and a ton of running around, it was just so nice. This week doesn't seem to be any calmer either! You would think it being winter it would be relaxing... it hasn't been the past few weeks. Lets hope after this week, son's project turned in, broken pipe gets fixed, cars undercoated and the list seriously goes on, we calm down a tad.
Any way today is Scrapping the Little Things over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. We are really trying to catch up ~ LOL ~ on our scrapbooks. We can do any style/form we choose. I am still mixing traditional with PL.
Today I thought I would share just a few days the past 2 months of the delays and cancellations our school district has had. I sure hope I didn't miss any, we don't have anymore and I jinx us! Sigh! Our children have already lost their Spring break, for some reason we had none or maybe one snow day built in this school year. HELLO ~ we live in western PA!!! Hopefully next year we have some snow days built into the year???
I think Emma's stamps and dies are just PERFECT for layouts. You can either add a little or a lot, whatever fits your style.
I of course will list all my products below but I thought how PERFECT is that sentiment for my title. It is from the Snow Buddies stamp set.  My little tally card was fun to create along with my snow. I saw someone actually sewed theirs together, sorry I can't remember who came up with this cute idea. I just cut around one of my PL sheets, added some shaved ice and sealed it up with score tape. Covered up the score tape with some ribbon ~ done! No cursing at a needle, thread or machine! LOL! . Someday I will have a new tool to create my pockets... that day can't come soon enough! Then of course our awesome little helper who LOVES to play in the snow, shovel and use the snow blower! Love that little man! I am still on the search for a better picture printer...suggestions and reviews welcome!

Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI & DCWV
Ribbon ~ May Arts
PTI ~ button
Ink ~ VersaFine, VersaMark and SU
white embossing powder
TH ~ distress stickle
Stampendous shaved ice
MME enamel dot
twine
Styrofoam balls from broken Christmas ornament

Make sure you head on over to Emma's blog to see what the ladies have in store for you all! I am sure you will be totally inspired to get those books done!

Have a great day!
