MCT 35th Edition Release Blog Hop

Happy Friday! Today is the My Creative Time 35th Edition Blog Hop! You should have arrived from the very talented and creative Cassandra's blog, if not, you can start here at Emma's blog or I will have a complete blog hop list below!
Let's get started! I am seriously blown away by this past week and everyone's creations! Then Miss Emma who seriously has the BEST products out there!
I will be showcasing the new stamp set Fun Vertical Greetings! I ADORE this new stamp set, which has 6 vertical sentiments. These sentiments go PERFECLT with the Embossed Gift Holder Die. I have wanted these forever and Miss Emma totally delivered. I LOVE giving gift cards and sometimes I like to flip the Embossed Gift Holder Die, not that you have to do that to enjoy this new set. You can also use these sentiments for cards, PL card and a ton more! I did chose to use them, should I say, traditionally today.
For my first project today I wanted to get a jump start on my son's birthday. I am a gift card giver and he is a gift card taker! He LOVES to go pick out his own stuff now, we are almost 9! Insert sigh! Since I knew he likes these colors I thought why not use the new stamp set since they fit PERFECLTY  and some of the other new release sets too! I LOVE the paint splatters from Family Is Everything set. Then decided why not use the word die "celebrate" from the new die set, Tag Die Layers, along with the chevron die for a little detail.
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ Archival & VersaMark
clear embossing powder

My second project has to do with Christmas ~ YES Christmas! Before we know it will be that time of year and I won't have a thing done! I swear every year I am going to start early, well I guess this is early but is it early enough?? Any way I used the new set, Fun Vertical Greetings and the Embossed Gift Holder. For a little more detail I again used the chevron die from the Tag Die Layers. Another super simple project!
Your next stop should be the amazing and talented Veronica!
Paper ~ PTI and EP
Ribbon ~ PTI
Ink ~ Archival
Stickles

MCT ~ August Sneak Peek Day #4

Hello crafty friends! It's Day #4 over at My Creative Time August Sneak Peeks. I am in awe of all the amazing and fabulous projects this week! WOW!! Emma always blows my mind every single month with what she releases and this time is NO exception!
Today, myself and the design team will be showcasing the new Tag Die Layers. I have to say I was so excited when I knew Emma was coming out with these dies. I LOVE to layer everything and these new dies work PERFECTLY with the Tag Dies! This set comes with 8 dies total! Yes ~ 8!
So I wanted to keep my tags really quick and simple! I literally made these in minutes. For my first tag I used nothing but the dies from this release and the existing Tag Die Layers. My words, heart and chevron die is from this set! Don't you LOVE them too??? I made this for a sweet couple who is getting married very soon. These are the colors of their wedding and thought this tag would dress up their gift bag! Simple right??
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ribbon ~ Stampin Up
Now for my second tag I made for my son who is turning 9 in the next month! I asked him what colors he liked and whipped this up super fast too! Again I used the Tag Die Layers, these circles are from this new die set too! I LOVE the inlay look and oh my the Number Fun Dies + Add Ons are seriously the BOMB!!!!  I figure I will put this on one of his gifts, I can't tell you what it is because he can read now! UGH!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ribbon ~ Stampin Up & hemp

My Creative Time Head of the Class Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Creative Time Head of the Class Blog Hop. You should have arrived from the talented Miss Cassandra. If not you can start over at Emma's blog by clicking here.
Well I can't tell you how much I ADORE this release. Emma has come out with the sweetest new stamp and dies this release. Yes it is school related but these new products can be used in so many different ways! LOVE that Emma's products are so versatile! So let's get started... oh remember I will list all materials under the pictures. I am trying not to make this a super long post.
For my first project I wanted to use the Love To Learn set. This set has many fabulous dies and coordinating stamps! Long story short we have this Crystal Light container that we keep my son's pencils in, so we can easily grab pencils around homework time. This set was the PERFECT time for this release. The sentiment "Write on!" is from the new stamp set "Write On". That set has a ton of sentiments too!
Your next stop should be the very talented Miss Veronica!
Materials Used
Paper ~ PTI and Recollections
Ink ~ Stampin Up & VersaMark
Ribbon ~ Stampin Up
white embossing powder
Sakura pen
Bobunny wood veneer paper clip
My next project is to show you what you can do with the Love To Learn set but not be school oriented. I made this magnet for my husband who at times has put dirty dishes in our dishwasher when the dishes were clean! Yes ~ clean! So this is just a friendly reminder for him! LOL. I also didn't want this to be too neat looking since I am sure this thing will get tossed around a tad.
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ Archival and VersaFine

My last project is a card using the stamp set Write On. I LOVED the sentiment! I did add the "my heart" to finish the sentiment. Believe it or not most of this card was from my huge scrap stash. All of my projects today are super simple and quick creations.
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ribbon ~ PTI
Ink ~ Versafine
MME enamel dots

MCT ~ Thrifty Thursday

Good morning! Today is Thrifty Thursday over at My Creative Time with Emma and the design team. This is when we try our hardest to use scraps, recycled items and any leftovers we have for our projects! Well as I always say, I have tons of scraps. I seem to save the tiniest piece of paper. I try to rummage thru my file folder container, each folder is marked by color that holds my PTI card stock.  I keep this under my desk, at arms reach. I also have a Snap album, that I bought on sale along with the clear plastic sleeves. I keep my extra die cuts in. See, I cut a ton of die cuts out when I use my MCT products. I like to see them in various colors. I even will cut our extra banners, tags, journal dies, pretty much everything.
So today I went thru my die cut scrap album and found a few pieces that I thought might look nice with some washi tape in my stash. See I have washi tape I never seem to remember to use, so I grabbed a piece of scrap paper that I didn't like the stamping and covered the back of it with washi tape. Then die cut out the washi like die. I seriously love doing this and need to do it more often.
Here is a picture of my scrap storage.

Onto my project now, sorry if I bored you all but I thought I would share how I store my scraps and extra die cuts.
So for my base, I used the other side of yet another stamping gone wrong project. See I save EVERYTHING! LOL!  All of my pieces I used for my card today, besides my base, either was a stamping gone wrong scrap or extra die cut from my album. LOVE using up my scraps!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI
Ink ~ Stampin Up
MME Washi Tape

Simple and easy card to whip together even if you don't have all the die cuts already cut out. Also may I note ~ there is NO ribbon on my card!! EEK ~ I have gone mad here!

Head on over to Emma's blog to see what they amazing ladies have done.
Also don't forget we still have a Designer Challenge going on. Click here for all the details.
Don't forget we will all be back tomorrow for some AMAZING projects for the Head of The Class Blog Hop! I'm so excited for you all to see too!

MCT ~ Made In Minutes

Good morning! Long time no post! I have been rather busy again with our summer ending, tournament ball over and trying to multi task! I am playing catch up in the house, trying to have my son enjoy what is left of summer and getting our family ready for a special wedding coming up soon. So please bare with me. Also, as you all know I have be renovating my craft room. It's been a long progress to say the least. So with trying to organize and find a neat and nice home for my stuff has been rather overwhelming! I seriously shouldn't buy another thing for years!!! Once I am done I will share pictures.
Good thing today is Made In Minutes over at My Creative Time. This is when Emma and the design team make something that can be made in minutes. I love this segment! With everything going on, my crafting time is very limited. So when I can craft, I need to make something quickly.
I decided to make a quick and easy shaker card using Martha Stewart Microbeads. Now you are probably thinking a shaker card is not made in minutes, right?? It can be if you have the My Creative Time Bunch of Fun Circle Dies! There are 6 circles and one fun shaped die in this set. You die cut out your first circle on your card stock, then die cut acetate the next size up. I can't believe how PERFECT these are for this! Seriously simple!
Materials Used:
Paper ~ PTI, acetate and silver paper
Ink ~ VersaFine
Martha Stewart Microbeads
Ribbon from J's

Well that is it for me today. I will be back later this week. Just wanted to remind everyone that we have a new Designer Challenge over at My Creative Time. Click here for all the details.

My Creative Time 34th Edition Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the 34th My Creative Time Blog Hop! Wasn't this week AWESOME and filled with tons of inspiring ideas! Well all I can say is Miss Emma just knows her stuff! She always designs things to mix and match with all her other products! LOVE that about her! Before I begin, you should have arrived from the very talented Miss Cassandra's blog. If not that's okay, you can start here or I will have a complete blog hop list below.
So today I will be showcasing the Grainy Wood Background Stamp. This stamp is simply PERFECT and is a must have stamp! It truly stamps beautifully every single time! I wanted to use the colors gray and yellow because it's such a beautiful combination together! I decided I would use the Stitched Postage Frame Die, extend it, so I could use the Dream Bigger Stamp. I knew this stamp would fit in this die just simply by extending the die! Now the Dream Bigger stamp is FREE for the first 100 shoppers! Yep ~ FREE! But don't wait to place your order because I know this will not last long with this release! As promised, I am keeping my posts short and sweet.

Paper ~ PTI
